The town of Windham, therefore the Windham Town Council, has some major decisions to make in the very near future. We will need all the experience and dedication that we can get.
I don’t want a town councilor who always agrees with me, but I do want a town councilor who is willing to listen to all sides of an issue before making an independent, thoughtful decision. Liz Wisecup is a person of integrity, who has proven to be a dedicated town councilor.
She has the experience of three years on the town council. She understands “Roberts Rules” that govern our town council meetings. She has the experience of reviewing three town budgets, and she has the knowledge of town government, the school budget and the comprehensive plan.
She was a chairperson of the Comprehensive Planning Committee. She has a desire to be a part of the newly formed committee to do long-range planning for our town. She has the background and experience to implement our new Comprehensive Plan. That is why I am voting for Liz Wisecup in the upcoming election.
