As winter turns to spring, motorcyclists have dusted off their bikes and taken to the roads, by the thousands. Maine, well-known for backroads and scenic vistas, is home to tens of thousands of motorcyclists, many of whom blend their love of God with their love of riding.
On Saturday, May 6, about 25 bikers gathered at Cornerstone Assembly of God to receive a blessing from Pastor Wilson Boyd, a motorcylist himself. After sharing doughnuts and the pastor’s prayer for safety, the group headed north, via police escort through North Windham, to Bethel and back. Forecasted rain held off for the group, which rode about 125 miles in total. Staff photos by John Balentine
