The annual Gorham Business & Civic Exchange will name its Business Person of the Year at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, at Crockett Interiors, 673 Main St.
Last year’s recipient, Martha Harris, owner of Natural Country Photography will present the plaque to the new winner.
Members of the exchange were asked to nominate their choice for the award. This annual award honors a local businessperson who is involved in the community, promotes business in the community, acts as a mentor and leader, and is creative and imaginative.
The event includes a reception and refreshments will be served. It is free of charge and open to the Gorham business community. “It is a great opportunity to network with other business people and meet new members in a social atmosphere,” said Dana Redmond, executive director of the exchange. “We will be able to tour the newly expanded facility and see the beautiful furnishings.”
