A group of Brown Street residents and business owners pitched in together on Saturday to help clean up the neighborhood.
From 9 a.m. to noon, the group made their way down the length of Brown Street, picking up trash as they went. They spent particular time in some of the wooded areas such as the one next to the Man’s Image barbershop.
Helping out were City Councilor Dotty Aube, Cindy Murphy of the Frenchtown Neighborhood Association, and Skybox owner Tom Dore, who donated trash bags and free pizza for the helpers.
