Beryl O. Varney, formerly of Windham, was the guest of honor March 19 celebrating her 92nd birthday. Members of her family who gathered to help her celebrate were: daughters, Jennie MacDonald and Paul Blake of Casco and Julia and Albert Cheney of Lyman; sister, Frances Atwood of Windham; grandchildren, Marcia Hansen of Rockwood, Felicia Hansen of Lewiston, Joyce and Mike Sherburne of Windham and Deb and Bob Penny Jr. of Brunswick; great grandchildren, Felicia Hansen of Lewiston and Andrew Hovasse of Springvale. Also attending were nieces and nephews, Beatrice MacDonald, Caroline and John Cannell, Gordon and Sue Knight, Tim and Leisa Knight and Dean, Helen and Ashley Knight.

Beryl currently resides at the Mayflower Place in Sanford, Maine. When visiting Beryl you most likely will see her working on her word search books at a super fast pace. She still loves corresponding and, of course, visits with family and friends. She also goes on one day trips and goes upstairs to do exercises with a group at the Mayflower. So there is no slowing down for Beryl, she is a pure example that life at 92 can still be a busy one!
