Season outlook: “If they want to give me everything then they’ll win the states. This is an extremely talented group of girls. If they they want to play hard and stay close as a team and not get hung up on the little things, they’ll be great. We’ll see how the leadership comes through.”

How did last season end? Lost to Cheverus in the first round of the playoffs

Key players: “It would be difficult for me to point to any individual players at this time as we are just getting started.”

Season outlook: “South Portland is going through big changes this year. We are fully sponsored by the school for the first time ever. In addition, we have an entirely new coaching staff … We graduated a bunch of good seniors, including Joe Yoon, an outstanding goalie. We have a good core of returning veterans and it should be a great season.”
