How did last season end? Lost to Gorham in extra innings in the Western Maine final
Key players: Jackie Moran (pitcher, junior); Brennan Balfour (third base, junior); Maureen Kertes (second base, junior); Marla Houghton (center field, junior).
Season outlook: “We’ve got everybody back but one, so we should be tough to beat, should be strong. We’ve got a freshman catcher, Colleen Martin, replacing a senior, but I think she’ll fill the role fine … There’s a lot of good teams out there. Our record was good (last year), but I think we had seven one-run ballgames that we won.”
