Buxton police arrested a suspect on April 5 on charges of robbing the Rite Aid Pharmacy at the intersection of routes 112 and 22 in Buxton last month.
Dean Yankowsky, 20, of Limington, was arrested at the Buxton Police Department on a York County Superior Court warrant, charging him with the Rite Aid robbery. Yankowsky was taken to York County Jail in Alfred.
Yankowsky’s bail was set at $5,000 cash or $50,000 secured.
Police said that the robbery occurred at 2:30 p.m. on March 26. Buxton Police Officer Ken Brislin, who was the first officer at the scene, said that a gun was not displayed in the robbery.
Buxton police are continuing the investigation. Officers are interviewing others who might have been with the suspect at the time of the robbery.
