At the Windham Public Safety Building on Saturday, Windham officials and volunteers brainstormed how best to control growth in town and bring it in line with Windham’s ten-year Comprehensive Master Plan. Left to right, Michael Shaughnessy, Will Plumley, Elizabeth Wisecup, Elaine Pollock, John Mackinnon, Bob Muir, Roger Timmons, Blaine Rich, Michael Manning, Jim Lauzier, Tony Plante and Keith Williams (seated). The group – comprised of town councilors, staff and planning volunteers – spent the day discussing a process to meet goals set out by the Comp Plan, all the while keeping in mind the rights of developers and impact of growth on the environment and community at large. The group will meet again at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 27 at Windham Town Offices. Courtesy photo
