Casco Public Library will be offering a free workshop entitled Beginning Drawing on Sunday, Mar. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Participants will focus on shapes, space and proportion using still life. Using a pencil and erasers to do quick exercises to train the eyes, artists will make a large drawing and then refine that drawing. The session will include demonstrations, hand-outs, and one-on-one instruction.

Instructor Anne Weber has her Masters from the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture and teaches drawing for the Continuing Studies Program at the Maine College of Art, Portland. She lives on Great Diamond Island.
