On Sunday, Feb. 26, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Steep Falls Fire Barn, 87 Boundary Road, Democrats in Standish will caucus to select delegates to the Democratic State Convention, elect Municipal Officers and County Committee members, and discuss policy issues affecting all Maine people.
Following the Caucus, there will be a social hour with refreshments.
The caucuses are the front lines of grassroots politics. Democratic candidates, elected officials and representatives from Democratic campaigns will attend. Attendees are asked to bring their viewpoints, ideas and questions for discussion.
People not currently registered in a political party, who would like to enroll as a Democrat may register on Feb. 26 at the Steep Falls Barn before the caucus, from 2:30 to 3 p.m.
