This building at 881 Main Street housed the Burns and Corbin Barber Shop (owned by John Burns and Zeno Corbin) on the right and the Smoke Shop (owned by Gerard Nadeau) on the left. Mrs. Margaret Shine lived on the upper floor and rented rooms.

The smoke shop was also known as Kit’s Smoke Shop and the barber shop was known as George’s Barber Shop when it was owned by George Belanger. The building to the left was Knight’s Hardware and later became Sportsman’s Hardware. Both buildings were taken by Urban Renewal for a parking lot.
