There is still time to register for the Lake Region Community Theatre Children’s Theatre Workshop. Children ages 8 through 12 years can attend a four-day theatre workshop to be held in the mornings at the Lake Region High School from Feb. 21 to 24 from 9 a.m. until noon.
The theatre workshop will be conducted by Rachel Stults, a senior theatre major at USM. She will focus on “Creating a Character.” Participants should bring a snack and wear comfortable, loose clothing and sneakers. Parents will be asked to sign their child in and out each day.
The Annual Children’s Theatre Workshop is part of the Theatre’s mission to provide ongoing education in the performing arts in the community.
The cost for the workshop is $25 per child and $15 for additional family members. There is no cost for Theatre members. The class is limited to 20 children and registration closes on Feb. 17.
