The Lake Region Community Theatre invites all area children ages 8 through 12 years to attend a four-day theatre workshop to be held at Lake Region High School on Feb. 21 through 24 from 9 a.m until noon.
This special theatre workshop will be conducted by Rachel Stults, a senior and theatre major at USM. She will focus on “Creating a Character,” sessions will include how a character moves, stands, walks, talks and sits. Children will be given situations in which they will decide how their characters will react. Participants should bring a snack and wear comfortable, loose clothing and sneakers. Parents will be asked to sign their child in and out each day.
The cost for the workshop is $25 per child and $15 for additional family members. There is no cost for members of LRCT. The class is limited to 20 children and registration closes on Feb. 17.
