The Libby-Mitchell American Legion Post 76 baseball team does not concentrate just on baseball. The Post encourages the team and its players to do good deeds in the community too.

Each year in December, the team raises money through holiday ornament sales and other contributions. The team makes charitable contributions to groups and people in need.

One contribution this year was to Good Shepard Food Bank. That organization provides food to those who might go hungry without the help. I am proud to be part of an organization that helps others.

The Libby-Mitchell team and its players wish everybody a happy new year.
