Library Closed
In celebration of President’s Day, the library will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20.
Crafts for Kids
The Annual February Vacation Week Craft will be held at the Raymond Village Library for school age students K-8 on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m.
Please sign up early at the library to take part in the colorful string art project that will be taught by Sue Carr, as the number of participants is limited to 15. The Raymond PTA has generously provided grant money for this Craft Day.
Book Group
The reading group will meet at the library on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. Plays by Peter Shaeffer will be discussed. Participants are encouraged to read one or more of the playwright’s works.
Among his most popular plays are: Amadeus, Equus and Lettice and Lovage. Copies of these will be available by request at the library. We always welcome new members, so if you’d like to add some new reading and sharing to your winters days, please join us. For more information call the library at 655-4283.
Dr. Seuss Night
The wonderfully fun Dr. Seuss Night will be held at the Raymond Elementary School, Mar. 1, beginning at 6:30. There will be a captivating reading of a Dr. Seuss story by Deb Keef and various activities set up for participants ages 3 through 93.
This year is expected to be better than ever with more stations to visit and more people working on all the fun activities. Jordan Small Middle School Senate will be adding their touch to the event to help make for a fun family evening.
