The Southern Maine Volkssport Association invites you to attend its regular meeting, to be held on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. in the general assembly room of Walker Memorial Library located at 800 Main Street in Westbrook.
The meeting is open to all, and everyone is invited.
The guest speaker for the meeting will be a representative from Eastern Mountain Sports; topic will be outfitting ourselves for outdoor activities, including walking, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing.
There will be a “intro-stroll” walk Sunday Feb. 12 at 1 p.m., starting at the parking lot of the Hannaford in South Portland parking lot, come to the right-hand side, near the water. If you prefer skating to walking, bring your skates, otherwise, we will walk over the bridge to Portland and back.
