On Feb. 6, the Westbrook City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the tax increment financing agreement proposed between Idexx and the city of Westbrook.

The proposed agreement is intended to aid in the expansion of Idexx in Westbrook, which hopes to renovate its headquarters in the Five Star Industrial Park and construct new office space across the street. The agreement is expected to garner the city of Westbrook approximately $5 million in new taxes by the end of its 20-year term.

The meeting will be held on Feb. 6 in room 114 of Westbrook High School.
