Lake Forest College student Alicia Frenette of Buxton, Maine, has spent the fall semester studying abroad in Beijing, China. Frenette is a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School.

The program in Beijing, China is offered through American University’s World Capitals Program and is an ideal learning experience for students of business and economics, international relations, and Asian studies. Because of China’s impressive economy growth in recent years, students benefit greatly from taking an in-depth look at these exciting changes. First-hand experiences are supplemented by time in the classroom at Beijing University and excursions throughout the country.

Lake Forest College is a national liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The college has 1,400 students representing 47 states and 54 countries.
