This year, the students collected bags from local stores, which included Plummers, Your Country Store, Low’s, and Jongerden’s. The bags were decorated by sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students and returned to the stores to give to customers for the holidays.

In addition to stories, information about holidays around the world and artwork, students also attached a special message to each bag reading, “Think before you drink and drive.”
