In response to feedback from a recent meeting at which about 20 Raymond property owners expressed dissatisfaction with their revaluations and questioned the methods used to compute them, Raymond selectmen have scheduled an informational public meeting with a representative from Vision Appraisal Technology.
On Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 6:30 p.m., Mike Tarello, district manager of Vision, will hold a workshop in the Raymond Elementary School gymnasium. Employed by Vision for nearly 20 years, Tarello has managed appraisal operations in Maine and Massachusetts for the past 13 of those years.
The workshop will include an overview of both the mass appraisal process and its methodology, and will provide an opportunity for property owners to ask questions.
