The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a report last week, after a 37-year-old roofer fell off a two-story building in Portland in November.
After the accident, Anthony Lemire, the area director for OSHA, said the roofer worked for the Topless Roofing and Siding Company in Gorham. Lemire said the agency would be investigating the accident.
Karen Billups, assistant area director of OSHA, said this week the agency had sent a report to the company. It’s unclear whether the agency has found any safety violations. Billups said it’s still under investigation and declined to release any further details.
The owner of the company, Stacy Bulgajewski, and her attorney declined to comment.
