Fifteen years ago, we had a simple idea to promote a concert with a special purpose – to collect gifts that would be distributed to families in our communities who found themselves in need at Christmas. And now 15 years later, it continues to grow and to be strongly supported by the Lakes Region’s communities.
We wish to thank everyone who attended our concert on Nov. 20 at Saint Joseph’s College in Standish and joined us in our effort. It was great fun singing and playing music and watching everyone sing along.
We are grateful for your generosity. The toy drive was immensely successful once again. Thank you for the hundreds of toys that you donated. It goes without saying that we could not continue to do this without your caring and support. “Happiness is not so much in having as sharing” (Norman MacEwan). It was certainly evident that afternoon.
We wish to thank Mike Connolly, Jackie DiPhillipo, Campus Ministry, Father John Tokaz and everyone at Saint Joseph’s College. John, Jake & Mickey Huntress of Blue Jay Light & Sound. We also are grateful to the Windham merchants who supported our endeavor.
We extend our warmest wishes to all this holiday season.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
