The University of Southern Maine Latino-Hispanic Student Association is hosting La Posada, a Latino-Hispanic Christmas celebration taking place from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17 in USM’s Woodbury Campus Center located on Bedford St., Portland.

The celebration will offer piA?±atas, the opportunity to dance the salsa, merengue, bachata and cumbia, and an ethnic food sale.

Admission to the event, which is co-sponsored by Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, is $2 for the public and $1 for USM students with I.D.
