Cumberland Country Retired Educators Association scholarships are again available to those who apply and qualify.
Any student who has completed one semester at an accredited college, and majoring in Education or Nursing can apply. Applicants must be a resident of Cumberland County and must submit a completed application form and resume.
The resume should includ: Applicant’s name, mailing address, home address, telephone numbers, Social Security number; a review of past and present academic background (including a transcript of college grades, awards, and achievements; a short essay stating reasons for choosing the profession; and three written character references (names and addresses included) from professional and personal acquaintances.
