Naples Annual Tree Lighting Celebration, organized by Naples Main Street in coordination with the Lakes Region Development Council, is being held Sunday, Dec. 4 from 5:45 to 7 p.m.
Festivities begin at the Union Church Lawn (next door to the Naples Library) at 5:45 p.m. with holiday music provided by the Lakes Region High School Show Choir and a reading of the original “The Secrets of Naples, Maine,” written by Darlene A. Lord and read by LRTV’s “Cooking Inn Style” Host Keith A. Neubert.
The School Group Chorus will join in the singing of holiday songs and will lead those present in joyous spirit to prepare for the culmination of the tree lighting ceremony scheduled for 6:20 p.m. followed by free refreshments across the street at the Freedom CafA?© and Publick House. Refreshments are provided by the following Naples businesses: The Freedom CafA?© and Publick House (Causeway Landing), the Inn at Long Lake and the Lamb’s Mill Inn. Photo opportunities are available with a famous holiday guest during refreshments.
Local parking is available at the Town Municipal lots on the Village Green, the Naples Town Library, and Roosevelt Trail (Route 302) parking spaces in the causeway area.
