‘Tis the season for Christmas music! The choir at Casco Village Church is preparing for its annual concert to be held Sunday, Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Members of the Raymond Village Community Church choir will also participate. The program is under the direction of Eugene Long, with Ellen Wescott, accompanist. It includes selections from a wide range of choral literature, and an opportunity for everybody to sing familiar Christmas carols. Instrumental music will be provided by David Gray, piano, Mimi Wetzel, organ, and Michelle Basselet and Cassandra Ratigan, flutes.
Admission is free. There will be a free-will offering and refreshments for everybody afterwards in the Great Hall with Christmas goodies provided by members of the choir. For more information, call the church office at 627-4282.
