The Gym Dandies will perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday morning in front of some 2.5 million people.
According to Director John Cahill, the Gym Dandies are the only group in the world that has more than 50 six-foot unicyclists in a single performance, which produces a visually stunning and amazing sight. The Gym Dandies’ unique performance was what attracted the attention of the Macy parade organizers.
It is unclear if the Dandies will be featured on television, but there is a good chance, Cahill said. If they are televised, then some 40 million television viewers will watch their performance. The parade will be televised on NBC, Channel 6, from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Nov. 24.
