December 2002-City announces Disability RMS is moving to the city. This clears the way for developer Tim Flannery and the city to move ahead with construction of the $17 million office building and the attached $5 million garage.

February 2003-City gets $1.2 million federal grant to aid in garage construction.

April 2003-Flannery secures $1.2 million line of credit to help cover financial shortfalls during construction. The City Council approves the request and secures the line of credit for Flannery.

Summer 2003-Construction begins on One Riverfront Plaza.

April 2004-Construction completed and the building officially opens when Disability RMS moves in.

June 2004-City holds barbeque to celebrate the building’s dedication and ribbon cutting.

November 2004-Flannery puts the building up for sale for a listed selling price of $23 million.

September 2005-Disability RMS announces expansion that will add 50 jobs and also announces plans to lease the first floor of the building.

November 2005-Flannery sells the building to a Hackensack, N.J.-based group for an undisclosed sum.
