I am writing in support of Dot Aube’s candidacy for the Ward 4 seat on the Westbrook City Council. I have worked with Dotty for several years with the Frenchtown Community Association. I know how committed she is, not just to the Brown Street neighborhood, but to the city of Westbrook. She has worked hard with community members and with the city to improve conditions in our neighborhood and to make certain that residents got the information they needed. She will be a strong supporter for our ward but will also be able to look at the whole picture, to do what is best not only for Ward 4 but for the city of Westbrook. She is the third of four generations of the Aube family who call Westbrook home. I like the fact that she has such strong family roots in Westbrook. Even with her roots in the past, she is looking toward and forward to the future of a Westbrook we all envision. I believe Dorothy Aube is the best candidate to represent the people of Ward 4 on the City Council.
