I am writing this letter in support of Suzanne Joyce who is running for City Council, Ward 5.
Suzanne Joyce is an individual who takes the term “public service” to heart and has executed her duties as a council woman with professionalism, knowledge, compassion and sound judgement. Suzanne is impressive in her involvement in this city, with her willingness to attend meetings, gather information, talk to her constitutents and citizens and involve herself in the day-to-day life of Westbrook. Her mission is simple: Make Westbrook the best possible place for its citizens to live and for businesses to thrive. Suzanne is a visible public figure in this town outside of her role as city councilor. She supports our local schools, civic organizations, our businesses and our community. I believe Suzanne has an understanding of this town and has represented citizens from children to senior citizens well.
We are so lucky to live in a democratic society that allows us to have intelligent, conscientous individuals willing to run for offices and to serve on committees that will benefit this community and its future. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to re-elect Suzanne Joyce for City Council Ward 5 and I hope that voters will do so.
