It is with great respect and admiration that I write this letter about Suzanne Joyce. Suzanne has been the Ward 5 city councilor for more than two years and has represented this city and her ward with great dignity and respect towards all. During her time in this position, she has consistently shown that her decisions and votes were made based on much research and thoughtful decision making. As citizens of this city, we expect that our council members will be honest, resourceful, educated on the items at hand, and considerate in their votes or recommendations. We fortunately have all of these qualities in Sue Joyce and much more.

Having had the privilege of knowing Sue for nearly 15 years, I have witnessed first-hand her true commitment to her family, the Westbrook School System and the city she calls home. If there is an event to better this town or any of the schools, you can count on seeing her genuine smile there. She is the PTO fundraising coordinator and the vice president for the Prides Corner and Congin Schools. Sue has also diligently worked on the Congin Building Committee and now serves on the Wescott Junior High Building Committee. She is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and is in charge of organizing the yearly downtown Halloween trick-or-treating event. This fun event offers our youngest Westbrook residents a safe place to go to show off their creative costumes, jump in the bounce house and collect some great treats. She has done this for the Chamber of Commerce for the past few years and it is a big success for all.

Suzanne Joyce is an amazing woman! She has a great deal of integrity, devotion and passion for her position as Westbrook’s Ward 5 city councilor. She volunteers countless hours to better our schools for the children and works tirelessly to improve this wonderful city. Sue is there for everyone, she listens to the people of this town and makes educated decisions. Please show your support for this incredible person by voting for Suzanne Joyce.
