My name is Chris and I go to Wentworth Intermediate School in Scarborough, Maine. We were shocked to find out how much trash there was on or near the beach.

In this letter I will share some of the data we found and also some of the observations we made.

We found 542 cigarette butts. There was 7 dog feces. We found 1,025 pieces of trash in all.
