I am writing to support Brendan Rielly’s re-election to the Westbrook

City Council from Ward 1. I have watched the Council a fair amount for the past five years, and have found him to be a very thoughtful,

considerate, and effective councilor. I think that he consistently asks

good questions, is very polite and respectful, and on most issues comes down on the right side of the issues important to me. Probably more important than anything to me, Brendan works hard to understand positions with which he disagrees. So even on issues with which we may disagree, I feel confident that he has worked hard to learn and understand the other side of the issue. I think, too, that Brendan is a decent person, which counts a lot.

I urge fellow voters in Ward One to support Brendan Rielly’s bid for

re-election to the City Council.
