Effective Monday, Oct. 3, Senior Dining Club will have a new location for its meals and activities. After many years at the Windham Center location in town hall, the facility will be moving to Unity Gardens, the new senior housing complex at 124 Tandberg Trail (Route 115), near the corner of Sabbady Point Road.

At the new spot, lunch will be served five days a week instead of three, and the Meals on Wheels will continue to be offered for seniors over 60 years of age, who are unable to prepare meals.

Beano and cribbage will be played daily and the hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Virginia Billings, director of the SMAA sponsored facility invites everyone to come and see the new meal center. You don’t have to be a Windham resident to take part in the program.

For reservations, call 892-3891, 48 hours in advance. Donation for dining is $3 per day; Meals on Wheels, $2.50 per day.
