On behalf of Sea Scout Ship 12, I would like to publicly thank the Rotary Club of South Portland and Cape Elizabeth for their incredible support. The Rotarians sponsor Sea Scout Ship 12, and they provide ongoing help and assistance.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Sea Scouts held their first “Yard Sail.” The success of this event was, in large part, due to the many voluntary contributions of time, treasure, and talent from so many civic minded and capable Rotarians.
Sea Scouts is a branch of Venture Scouts/Boy Scouts. Sea Scout Ship 12 currently offers leadership and boating skill opportunities for males and females aged 14-21 years old. Sea Scout Ship 12 serves the Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, Scarborough and Portland communities.
