On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Casco Fire Department will host a Public Safety Day at the Central Fire Station.

The events will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. Fire crews, including the Bridgton Haz Mat, Otisfield’s Squad Truck, Cumberland Oxford Dive Team and Raymond Smoke House, will perform rescue demonstrations. Also, there will be demonstrations from Maine State Police and Don’t Shake Jake, and many more events.

This is the second year for the event and the department is anticipating around 150 people attending. Food and beverages will be available.
