Lakes Brew Fest will be held Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Casco Days Fair Grounds in Casco.
Tickets are $18 prior to the event and $22 on event day. Non-drinking participants are $5. Tickets are available at Bray’s Brew Pub, Blacksmiths Winery, Good Life Market, Black Horse Tavern and the Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber Information Center in Bridgton.
Organizers are expecting 1,000 participants this year, up from 450 last year. In exchange for admission, each participant will receive a souvenir glass and 10 sample tickets. Each ticket allows participants to try one beer. More tickets can be purchased as well.
There is also a contest for People’s Choice Best Beer (voted on by participants), and new for this year’s event is a Best Decorated Brewer’s Booth contest.

Participating brewers include Sebago Brewing Company, Blacksmiths Winery, Brays Brew Pub, SparHawk Brewers, Casco Bay Brewing Company, Geary Brewing, Shipyard Brewing Company, Rocky Bay Brewing, Belfast Brewing Company, Atlantic Brewing, Andrew’s Brewing Co. and Gritty’s.
Participating food vendors include Black Horse Tavern, Bray’s Brew Pub, Bridgton Lion’s Club and Delicious Licks at the Lakes (featuring Bobby-Sue’s Homemade Ice Cream).
Live music will include Denny Breau, Anni Clark and the Dave Rowe Trio.
