Marion Wellman will be recognized on Thursday, Sept. 22, by the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of Southern Maine (RSVP) for five years of volunteer service.

The honor comes at the group’s 32nd annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon at Verrillo’s Convention Center in Portland.

The program recruits people 55 and over who want to use their time, talent and energy to benefit their communities through volunteer service. RSVP matches volunteers with non-profit organizations throughout Cumberland and York counties. For more information, call 396-6520.
