Activities will begin at 6 p.m., and will include relay races, games, a moon bounce and dunk tank, as well as a performance from participants of the recent Schoolhouse Arts Center production. The Annual Homerun Derby, sponsored by the Standish Softball Association, calls for the homerun hitters to be there by 6:30 p.m. The family movie begins at 8:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and your blankets, your picnic lunches or your appetit. The snack shack will be open all night with plenty of good food and drinks!
Saturday, August 6
Family Festival Parade: 10 a.m.
The parade will begin at the Old Red Church on Oak Hill Road, and will
conclude at First Technology. Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets and your community spirit and cheer on our parade participants!!
Blueberries ‘n Blossoms: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Marrett House
The Wildridge Garden Club invites you to come enjoy home baked blueberry goodies along with free garden and house tours. Proceeds from the sale of goodies and cut flowers will benefit the Wildridge Garden Club.
Kiwanis Beach Activities: 3 p.m.- dark
Sponsored by Kiwanis Club
Free admission to the beach all day, picnicking, swimming, volleyball, “Beach Boogie” and a Chicken BBQ!
