The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer Introduction to QuickBooks (CCS 059-21) on Monday evenings from 6-8:30 p.m. from September 12 through October 17. (There will be no class on Oct. 10 in observance of Columbus Day.) The cost of the class is $195 and includes materials.
QuickBooks is the one of the most popular small-business computer accounting packages available. In this class, participants will learn how to set-up an accounting system for a company, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, create invoices, bill customers, print checks, and create financial statements. Participants should have a basic understanding of Windows. The class will be taught by Ken O’Brien. O’Brien owns a computer consulting company in Woolwich and specializes in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Web Design.
