Team White Knuckle, consisting of Martha and Tom Blackburn, took home the grand prize at this year’s Windham Rotary Club’s 2005 Sebago Lake Poker Party All-Boats Poker Run held last weekend on Sebago Lake.
After collecting playing cards from “card boats” strategically placed around the lake, the Blackburns won the grand prize of $500 during a 5-card stud showdown.
The top four finishers in the performance boat category were Team Panther Run Marina, Team White Knuckle, Team $$Wasted D’oh$$, and Team Nobody’s Fool. In the Open class, the top four finishers were Team Wheels and Deals, Team Candlestick Makers, Team All-In and Team Co Co Kane.
Over $5,000 in cash and merchandise prizes were awarded at the Poker Party. Event proceeds go to benefit local charities, not-for-profit organizations, the Windham Rotary Permanent Fund for college scholarships and the Rotary Foundation.
