Aug 1-5: Windham Parks and Recreation sponsors Summer Art Fiesta Art Camp Aug. 1-5, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Primary School Art Room. While exploring the art of Mexico, students will also experience working with clay, watercolors and sculpture.

August 6, 7: “Back to the Past” at Scribner’s Mill in Harrison will feature a turn of the century homestead, sawmill, lumbering festival Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two full days of demonstrations, exhibits, house tours, children’s activities, workshops and refreshments. Featuring, this year, a Narrow Gage Steam Locomotive, steam engine exhibits, tours of early Harrison barns. Admission is $5, children 12 and under free. Aug. 20: ATV Safety Course will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Windham Town Hall Annex, room 1.
