Evora Jordan, Maine native, retired educator, child abuse counselor and consultant never dreamed that in retirement she would become an author, appear on radio and television programs, and even travel to Moscow, Russia to present her work. But a personal journal about abuse led to her first published book, “Twenty-One Days with a Vulture.”
A children’s book followed, “Annie’s Love.” Then her murder mysteries, two so far, “Tainted Sand” and “Tainted Towers” were released. These works are both fictionalized accounts of actual crimes linked to Maine. Evora is a generous, interesting, amusing individual who delights in sharing her experiences and expertise in writing, publishing, and self-publishing.
