The Naples Public Library will hold its annual Yard Sale on Saturday, July 9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This one-day event is always very popular and has become an important fund-raiser for the library.
The library welcomes donations of “yard sale-type” items for the sale. This is the perfect time to clean out your garage or basement and help the library at the same time. You may drop off your donations at the library on Friday, July 8 anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Unfortunately, the library is unable to take clothing donations.
Also on Saturday, July 9, the library will be holding Mini-Art Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Needless to say, the best selection will be early in the day!
There are over 100 paintings for this special sale. Talented local artists, including Charlene Lee, Andrea Dacko, Marjorie Di Pretoro, Peg MacKay, Richard Anzelc, Nahdia Lorden, Naomi Chase, and many others, have donated small original pieces of their work. The pieces have all been matted by Lake Region Art and Framing and will be set up for exhibit and sale in the library’s Gathering Room.
These lovely pieces of art work cover a range of subjects, including still lifes, landscapes, animals, lighthouses, birds and birch trees, so there is sure to be something for every connoisseur’s taste and dA?©cor.
