Day Trip to Foster’s Downeast Clambake

What could be nicer than a traditional Downeast Clambake in July? We’ll travel on a custom coach to York Harbor to Foster’s Downeast Clambake and after lunch we’ll enjoy a leisurely drive to Prescott Park Gardens in Portsmouth, before heading back o Cape Elizabeth. The clambake will include clam chowder (voted “best chowder” twice at the International Boston Seafood Show), steamed clams, Maine lobster, red bliss potatoes, roasted onions and fresh corn on the cob, dessert and beverage. Barbecued chicken or a vegetarian plate is offered as an alternative to lobster. Live entertainment is provided while dining. You’ll be able to watch your feast being prepared over a wood fire in Foster’s stone fireplace.

Summer Concerts At Mill Creek Park

Just a reminder that during the summer months there are weekly concerts in the park at Mill Creek, in South Portland. We’d love to take a group of you to each concert if you’re interested. We’ll provide van transportation from our Community Center here in Cape Elizabeth, or we can arrange for car pooling if transportation is needed. All you need to do is call our office in advance and let us know you’d like to go and if we can get a group together we will attend as a group. Listed below is a list of dates and who will be performing that evening. It would be fun to go as a group, so even if you want to go in your own car, call our office and we can arrange to meet you there!

Maine State Music Theater

We’re off to see “Mame” at the Maine State Music Theater this summer and you’re invited to come along. We’ll travel via a custom coach to the air conditioned theater in Brunswick, Me. At this summer matinee performance you’ll flash back to the roaring 1920’s as a 10 year old orphan boy is delivered to his swinging, eccentric Auntie Mame while she is hosting a cocktail party for her wildly flamboyant friends “Mame” is a timeless classic that stands on its own with a feel good story, splashy production numbers and fun music. Cost of the trip includes theater ticket and transportation.

Harbor Cruise and Lunch at Diamond Cove

Casco Bay Lines will take us on a short cruise out to Diamond Cove on Great Diamond Island for lunch at the five star Diamond Edge Restaurant. With beautiful views and very nice atmosphere you’ll enjoy lunch that will include a choice of soup, sandwich, a dessert and beverage. After lunch we’ll board the boat for a leisurely cruise back to Portland.
