Portland SCORE, Service Corps of Retired Executives, a volunteer organization supporting small business, will hold the following workshops:
Tuesday, July 12: Starting Your Own Business (Everything you need to know).
Tuesday, July 19: Writing a Business Plan (Why you need one and when to revise it).
Thursday, July 21: Buying a Business (How to estimate value and avoid pitfalls).
Tuesday, July 26: Marketing and Sales (How to attract new customer and keep them).
All workshops will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the SCORE Offices, 100 Middle Street, Second floor, East Tower, in Portland.
