The Naples Public Library’s fabulous “Mini-Art Sale” is scheduled for Saturday, July 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Needless to say, the best selection will be early in the day.

There are over 100 paintings for this special sale. Talented local artists, including Charlene Lee, Andrea Dacko, Marjorie Di Pretoro, Peg MacKay, Richard Anzelc, Nahdia Lorden, Naomi Chase, and many others, have donated small original pieces of their work. The pieces have all been matted by Lake Region Art and Framing and will be set up for exhibit and sale in the library’s Gathering Room.

These lovely pieces of artwork cover a range of subjects, including still-lifes, landscapes, animals, lighthouses, birds and birch trees, so there is sure to be something for every connoisseur’s taste and dA?©cor.

The matted mini-paintings will be priced at $10. Lake Region Art and Framing will also frame these delightful little paintings for a nominal fee of $10.

This year’s show also includes quite a few larger pieces of original watercolors. These pieces will be priced between $25 and $45.

In conjunction with the art sale, there will be a small selection of gifts available for purchase in addition to the library’s popular Yard Sale.

All proceeds from these sales will help support programs and services at the Naples Public Library. For more information, please contact the library at 693-6841 or visit www.naples.lib.me.us.
