We are deeply saddened by the news that our assistant principal, Kim Slipp, has been reassigned to the High School and will be leaving us here at the Middle School at the end of the school year.

A woman of strong conviction and character, Kim has and continues to exemplify the solid leadership qualities so integral a part of a successful middle school. Over the years, in her capacity as an administrator, colleague, disciplinarian, and evaluator, Kim has remained a supportive, outcome-oriented individual readily available to assist those in need.

Approachable and encouraging by nature, Kim has nurtured and developed an atmosphere for positive feedback, moral support and constructive processing of information.

An advocate for staff, parents and students alike, Kim has manifested her commitment to excellence and passion for the learning environment by remaining a staunch supporter for consistency, academic rigor, and professionalism.

An active listener, Kim is known for her quick wit and calm demeanor. We admire her versatility, applaud her amazing work ethic and appreciate her sincerity.

We consider her transfer a great loss to our school. And we want to public thank Kim for the twenty-five years of dedicated service she has rendered.
