The 3rd annual Don Gordan Scholarship Dance will be held Sunday, June 5 from 5-9 p.m. at Keeley’s Convention Center, Warren Avenue, Portland. The event, which raises money for a scholarship given to a local music student, is in memory of Don Gordan, a well-known Portland area jazz musician and longtime Windham resident.
Many local musicians have generously donated their time to perform at the event. Entertainment includes Port City Jazz, Billy Costa, The Super Senior Sextet, Don and Al Doane, Tom Snow, and Rick Gordan.
